A lot has happened since I last posted on the website.
I bought a house, a fixer upper which after a very long and protracted purchase process I moved into in August this year. I have ripped out a some of the interior walls and what there was of a kitchen & bathroom have been removed save the toilet. I have to replace the pipe from the house to the septic tank and am ‘camping’ out in the house while I try to renovate on a very limited budget.
There is much to do outside with almost a half acre of land, and no water supply. My neighbour has kindly provided a stand pipe at the boundary for me to use while my own well is sunk and I can get water into the house again. This is probably the most expensive part of the rebuild to date.
I will try to maintain this site a little better going forward, so do drop by again to see the progress.
